SponsorFlo Alternative: Sportworks.io vs SponsorFlo Compared

•By Joe Housley, Co-Founder

If you are looking for a SponsorFlo alternative to win more new sponsors, in our view Sportworks.io is the strongest choice for sports rights holders: it puts each prospect's logo on photos of your own kit, LED boards and signage, turns those visuals into activation images and video, builds personalised decks from your own PowerPoint, and lets you pitch a whole industry in one run. SponsorFlo describes itself as sponsorship management software that covers the cycle from first pitch to renewal. Prices below are as published by each company in October 2026.

What is the difference between SponsorFlo and Sportworks.io?

The short answer: Sportworks.io is built to create the pitch, while SponsorFlo describes itself as a workspace for running the whole sponsorship relationship. Sportworks focuses on the creative and the deck that win the first meeting and the signature. SponsorFlo describes CRM, contracts, invoicing and renewals alongside its deck builder (SponsorFlo, features).

Here is how they line up, feature by feature. Where SponsorFlo's site does not mention a feature, the cell is left blank.

What is SponsorFlo?

SponsorFlo describes itself as an "AI sponsorship department": sponsorship management software that runs from first pitch to renewal on one partner record (SponsorFlo). It is aimed at sellers such as sports teams, events, venues, nonprofits, podcasts and esports properties, and at the agencies that sell for them.

Its Deck Studio builds a deck from your inventory and brand identity once you pick a sponsor, and includes logo mockups on your asset photos (SponsorFlo). Beyond pitching, it lists a CRM, an agreement editor, deliverable tracking, invoicing with Stripe and QuickBooks Online, and video analysis of sponsor logos in footage (SponsorFlo), plus a Renewal AI feature that flags agreements 90 days before they expire (SponsorFlo). On its own site it says it runs alongside your company CRM rather than replacing it (SponsorFlo).

Published monthly prices are Starter $299, Growth $599, Pro $799 and Enterprise from $2,700, with a 12-month minimum on Enterprise (SponsorFlo).

Why do we think Sportworks.io is the stronger SponsorFlo alternative for pitching?

In our view Sportworks.io is the stronger alternative if your main goal is to land new sponsors, because every part of the product is aimed at the pitch: what the prospect sees, how quickly you can make it, and what they do with it once it lands. It is the AI platform for sports commercial teams, built to create personalised sponsorship pitches, including branded mockups, activation images, videos and pitch decks, in minutes.

Designs: the prospect's brand on your real inventory

Designs adds a sponsor's logo to your kits, LED boards, stadium signage and social content, built from your own inventory photos. You set the logo placements once, and Designs matches colour, sizing and perspective so the result looks like your ground, not a stock template.

It also removes existing branding. That matters more than it sounds. If your current shirt sponsor is coming to the end of its deal, or a perimeter board is already sold, you can show a new prospect the same asset with their brand in place and nobody else's in the way. For a club pitching a front-of-shirt or sleeve deal, that one image can do more work than a page of audience figures.

MK Dons' Chief Commercial Officer puts it simply: "It lets us show a prospect exactly what their brand looks like on our inventory before they've even signed." For more on making mockups that look real, see our guide to sponsorship mockups.

Studio and Video: activation ideas a sponsor can picture

Studio combines reference images (your uploads, Designs output or past creations) with a written concept to create branded activation visuals in the aspect ratio you choose. Write "fan zone takeover on derby day with the sponsor's colours on every surface" and you have a visual to put on the activation slide, rather than a bullet point.

Video then turns a Designs or Studio image into a short clip from a description. It covers LED animations, apparel, broadcast graphics and social formats, and can map a brand's existing ads onto your LED screens. Sending a prospect ten seconds of their own advert running around your perimeter boards is a very different first impression from a static PDF.

Decks: your own template, personalised for every brand

Decks starts with the deck you already use. Upload your PowerPoint or PDF and Sportworks turns it into a reusable template with linked image placeholders. Select the brands you want to pitch and it builds a personalised deck for each one, with their visuals, your inventory and your pricing. Export to PPTX or PDF and keep editing in the tools your team already knows.

You keep your club's look, your structure and your commercial story. Sportworks fills in the parts that change from prospect to prospect. Birmingham City FC's Head of Partnerships says: "We can create personalised decks in minutes." Our guide to building a sponsorship pitch deck covers what each slide should do.

Deck tracking: know who is interested before you follow up

Every deck you send can be shared as a public, password-protected or email-gated link. You get a notification when it is opened, per-viewer analytics showing sessions and dwell time, and a slide-by-slide heatmap. There is also an internal feedback link, so colleagues can comment before a deck goes out.

The heatmap is the useful part in practice. If a prospect spent three minutes on your LED page and skipped hospitality, your follow-up call writes itself.

Scale: pitch a whole sector in one run

Scale, launched in May 2026, lets you select several brands, or a whole industry, and generate personalised pitch assets for every prospect in one run, with batch download and team sharing. It is built for outbound campaigns and mass prospecting: the work a small commercial team rarely has time to do properly by hand. Our guide to personalising sponsorship pitches at scale explains how to plan that kind of campaign.

Setup and support included on every plan

Every Sportworks plan includes all features, unlimited design templates, deck sharing insights, an account manager, priority support and 1-2-1 onboarding. Onboarding covers live team training, building your first design templates, loading your inventory, brand assets and deck templates, and quarterly check-ins. Plans differ by seats and monthly generation limits, and every plan includes all features, so a one-person commercial team on Starter gets the same features as a large club on Elite.

Results and customers

Sportworks reports 10x faster production, 50% cost reduction, 3x more conversions and average payback in under 30 days from first use, based on its own aggregated client data (Sportworks customers). Reading FC's Chief Commercial Officer says: "Sportworks.io has transformed efficiency in our partnership sales."

Customers shown on the site include Reading FC, Birmingham City FC, Aston Villa FC, Burnley FC (whose official AI pitching partner is Sportworks.io), MK Dons, Werder Bremen, Real Club Deportivo de La Coruña, Williams Racing, MotoGP (Sports Entertainment Group) and the Sydney Roosters. Sportworks.io Limited is based in the UK and prices in pounds.

Next on the product: Showcase, coming soon, is an interactive 3D world you send a prospect instead of a deck. They walk through your venue, see their brand live on the LEDs and other assets, and click through to the pitch deck, assets for sale, price list and terms.

How do SponsorFlo and Sportworks.io pricing compare?

Both publish monthly prices, starting at £299 for Sportworks.io and $299 for SponsorFlo, but they are priced on different units. Sportworks tiers are set by seats and monthly generation limits, with every feature on every plan. SponsorFlo tiers are set by AI credits, which cover decks and images. The figures below are in each site's own currency and are not converted.

SponsorFlo says extra credits can be bought, and that getting started is through its team, who set up the workspace (SponsorFlo).

When you compare, work out the volume you need: how many people will use the tool, and how many personalised decks, mockups and videos you expect to produce in a typical month. On Sportworks, a two or three-person partnerships team fits Core, and the generation limit is the number to check against your pipeline. Full details are on the pricing page.

Which should you choose?

Choose Sportworks.io if winning new sponsors is the priority and you want the prospect to see their brand on your inventory from the first contact. In particular, it fits if you:

  • want mockups on your own kits, LED boards and signage, including removing an existing sponsor's branding;
  • want activation visuals and short videos, not just static images;
  • want to keep using your own PowerPoint or PDF deck as the template;
  • plan outbound campaigns to a whole sector and need personalised assets for every brand at once;
  • want slide-level tracking to decide who to follow up first;
  • prefer a UK company with prices in pounds and onboarding included.

SponsorFlo suits a team that wants CRM, contracts, invoicing and renewals in the same tool as its pitching.

You do not need to replace your existing CRM or sponsor spreadsheet to use Sportworks. It does not include a CRM or contract management today (sponsor management and reporting are on its roadmap), so you can run it alongside whatever you already use to track deals. What does a Sportworks pitch campaign look like in practice?

Here is a hypothetical example, not a real client or deal, and not based on any Sportworks customer. A National League football club wants to fill its unsold sleeve, LED and training-kit slots before the season starts, and decides to target 20 regional businesses in one sector, say home improvement and building supplies.

  1. Set up once. During onboarding, the club loads photos of its home shirt, training top, LED perimeter boards and concourse signage into Designs and sets the logo placements. Its existing partnership deck goes into Decks as a template.
  2. Run the sector. Using Scale, the commercial manager selects the 20 brands and generates a personalised set of assets for each: the brand on the sleeve and on the LED boards, a Studio visual of a sponsored community coaching day, and a short Video clip of the brand's ad running on the perimeter.
  3. Send and watch. Each brand gets an email-gated deck link. Over the next week, the heatmap shows that six prospects spent most of their time on the LED and community pages.
  4. Follow up with focus. The manager calls those six first, leading with the assets they looked at, and offers a short meeting at the ground.

The same approach works for a motorsport team pitching car livery or team kit, where the prospect wants to see their brand on the car before anything else.

How Sportworks helps

Sportworks.io lets a small commercial team produce the pitch visuals it would otherwise brief a designer for: mockups on your real inventory, activation visuals, video and personalised decks, for one brand or a whole industry at a time, with tracking that tells you who to call. Every plan includes every feature and 1-2-1 onboarding, from £299 a month.
